Technology is utilized to enhance and enrich learning opportunities for students in the form of practical life. It is a supplement to our curriculum and not as a substitute for engaging in books and materials. The purpose of Practical Life in a Montessori school is not only to teach concentration, increase small motor skills, expose students to new interests and opportunities, but also to prepare the child for real world experiences.

Students in Lower Elementary learn typing skills, navigation skills (focusing on finding reliable information and resources), presentation software and word processing. In Upper Elementary students are required to have a tablet. Homework is online and students submit assignments via e-mail or a drop box. Students learn to use email, blogs, Google Docs, multiple apps, interactive posters, and more.
