During the month of June our elementary students will focus on learning financial literacy using a program provided by Texoma Workforce Solutions. They will learn to work, earn, spend, save, and give. Through this 4-week process, they will actually earn money that they will save. At the end of the project, they will have the opportunity to give a percent to a local charity, spend a percent on something for the MANT community (i.e. something for our new Learning Woods) and purchase items from a mobile store.
May Mission Update:
May mission was focusing on campus beautification and working in our garden boxes. Students had a first hand experience with gardening and the growth of new life! New annuals were planted in the front flower bed and students spread mulch. The gardens are beginning to flourish from all the rain we have had. We are excited to get to eat and explore some of the fruits of our labor this month.
