Geography and Social Studies introduces a child to his/her physical world and the diverse cultures it embraces. The study of geography includes continents, oceans, world maps, land & water forms, directionality and map skills. Children learn about cultural diversity and are presented opportunities to further explore and research various cultures independently. The history of man and the earth is studied, introducing the Five Great Lessons, Clock of Eras and the Timeline of Life.
