How are children grouped into classes?
The Montessori method of teaching uses multi-age classroom with children divided into three-year learning cycles; 18 mo-3 yrs, 3-6 years, 6-9 years, etc. Each class should have a balanced age mixture with the same number of younger, older, and mid-aged children of both gender
