Students
Montessori Academy of North Texas enrolls students from 18 months to 11 years of age (Grade 3), from the Grayson, Fannin, Denton, Cooke & Bryan County areas.
This student population includes: 2 sections of Toddlers (age 18 mo.-36 mo.), 23 in each section, for a total current capacity of 46 in the Toddler Program); 2 sections of Primary (age 3 yrs.-6 yrs.), 23 in each section, for a total current capacity of 46 in the Primary program; one section of Lower Elementary (age 6-9 yrs.), 20 in each section. We will be adding an Upper Elementary (age 9 yrs.-12 yrs.) program based on the age and advancement of the children currently enrolled in our Lower Elementary program within the next 24-36 months.
To our best ability, we attempt to balance the student population in each classroom between boys and girls (approximately 50% of each gender) and between ages (approximately 1/3 of each age) in each three-year range.
The student population is diverse racially, culturally, and religiously. We seek and celebrate this diversity.
